Risk disclosure

Last updated 9 September 2026

1. Read this before you trade

Trading foreign exchange, precious metals, index derivatives and contracts for difference on margin carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose some or all of your deposit, and with some brokers more than your deposit. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. This page explains the risks that are specific to automated trading software from AlgoSoft Technologies.

2. Leverage

Margin trading multiplies both gains and losses. A small adverse move in price can produce a large loss relative to the funds in your account, and a broker may close your positions automatically when your margin falls below its requirement. Position sizing inputs in the software are set by you; we do not choose them for you.

3. Past performance

Backtests are simulations on historical data and depend on the quality of that data, the spread and commission assumed, and the settings used. Live records show what happened on one account with one broker over one period. Neither is a prediction. Where a product shows a performance card, it is published by the seller separately from marketing text, and where no verified report exists the card says so. Do not treat any figure as an expected return.

4. Broker and execution dependency

The same software produces different results at different brokers because spreads, commissions, swap rates, slippage, requotes, server time and available instruments differ. Some brokers restrict or prohibit automated trading, scalping or hedging. Check your broker's terms before running any EA.

5. Technology risk

  • A terminal that sleeps, a VPS that reboots or an internet outage can leave positions unmanaged.
  • A MetaTrader update, a broker server change or a symbol rename can stop an EA from working until it is updated.
  • The software depends on our license server; a prolonged outage on our side stops it from opening new positions after the grace period.
  • Any software can contain defects. Monitor your account and keep a manual way to close positions.

6. No guarantee, no advice

AlgoSoft Technologies does not guarantee any result, does not manage your account, does not hold your funds and does not give financial advice. The software executes the rules you configure. Every order it places is your order. Nothing on this site or in our support conversations is a recommendation to trade any instrument.

7. Your responsibility under local law

Laws on margin trading, offshore brokers and automated trading differ by country. It is your responsibility to check that trading the instruments you choose, with the broker you choose, is legal where you live, and to declare and pay any tax on your trading. Residents of some countries are not permitted to trade foreign exchange or derivatives with offshore brokers. If you are unsure, ask a licensed adviser in your country before you start.

8. Acknowledgement

By purchasing, renting or trialling our software you confirm that you have read and understood this disclosure, that you have the knowledge to understand how the software trades, and that you accept full responsibility for the results on your account.
